I can't wait to read Walking Disaster and see things from Travis's point of view!!

@ SarahO - I can see why people didn't like Travis, he can be very jealous and possessive and he is also quite violent (but not to Abby). I just felt that she played up to his insecurities and knew what buttons to press to make him worse - I'm not excusing his behaviour though. Like the title suggests their relationship is a Beautiful Disaster not a healthy relationship LOL.

@ Caroline - I felt exactly the same as you did, the relationship made me uncomfortable but I was addicted and couldn't stop reading LOL. This isn't really the kind of book I'd recommend for impressionable teens (even though it is marketed as YA) but as an adult I enjoyed it. I think the difference is that I know enough about relationships to know that I wouldn't want to be with someone like Travis & I wouldn't accept that kind of behaviour in a boyfriend.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07491718306784046961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816222359708972661.post-41672100074693978842012-10-10T13:19:40.623+01:002012-10-10T13:19:40.623+01:00Great review Sarah.

I mostly remember how disturbed I was as a result. This review makes me realize that I should probably go back and read it again, because every time I see someone talking about how Travis is their book crush and they just love him, it makes me want to cringe. I really do need to read it again to see.SarahOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09723549515672681003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816222359708972661.post-90913496141019129712012-10-09T23:08:27.863+01:002012-10-09T23:08:27.863+01:00I loved loved loved this book. when I finished it ...I loved loved loved this book. when I finished it I wanted to start all over again.Escapism Fanatichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06359804270238859885noreply@blogger.com
