I really hope we see more if him in Mockingjay because I've not had enough LOL. I must read that soon so I can finally find out who she ends up with :-)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07491718306784046961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816222359708972661.post-65869045263445299792014-01-04T11:07:44.451+00:002014-01-04T11:07:44.451+00:00I really enjoyed this review and I can agree with ...I really enjoyed this review and I can agree with you on a number of things, especially in regard to the predictability of the plot. I easily anticipated the plot developments, especially the major ones, although that didn't stop me from loving every minute of the book! I also love that you love Katniss, because she really is an amazing character. Such a great role model for people of all ages. Her selflessness is incredibly inspiring and no words can do her amazing character justice.

I think it's really interesting that you're more on Team Gale than Team Peeta, because when I initially read the series, I couldn't stand Gale at all. I think this mostly came from his arrogance and sense of self-righteousness, in that he thinks everything he does is the right thing and that everyone should believe him. In this same way, he seems to think that he's "entitled" to love Katniss, because he knows her better than anyone else. I'm not sure if that made sense at all, but I just found Gale to be frustrating as a character overall, and couldn't really stand him in the Hunger Games and Catching Fire, although his character did improve for me in the first half or so of Mockingjay :)

This was a great review! I hope you love Mockingjay, too!! :)Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13940975678165775721noreply@blogger.com
