Holiday of a Life Time

I just thought I'd let you know that I'm not going to be around much over the next 3 weeks as tomorrow I'll be setting off on holiday with my Dad and brother.  Dad retires next year so we're celebrating with a fantastic holiday to America :o)

I've decided I'm going to leave my laptop at home and take a complete blogging break while we're away but I may still end up making the odd appearance on Twitter if I can find free internet access on my phone (I'm a bit worried I'll have internet withdrawal symptoms while we're away lol).  I'll be taking millions of pictures though so I'll tell you all about what we get up to when I'm back home.

There is still going to be plenty going on around here though, I have some fantastic guest posts, a few reviews and even a giveaway going up while we're away so please do stop by and check them all out.  I won't be able to respond to comments until I get back but I'd really appreciate it if you could show my guest bloggers some support while I'm gone.  It might take me a while to catch up when we get back but I promise I'll return all of your visits as soon as I can.

So what are we going to be up to in America?

First we're spending a few days in Washington

Then we're heading to Philadelphia for the Authors After Dark conference
(more info about that later on in the week)

and finally we'll be spending some time in the Big Apple...

...with a bit of a side trip to Niagara Falls

I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are!  None of us have ever been to the States before so I'm sure it will be an amazing experience and I'll tell you all about it when we get home.

I hope you all have a fantastic few weeks while we're gone & I'll catch up on comments, blog visits and emails when we get back :o)

  2. I have lived in the U.S. my whole life and I still haven't been to Washington, D.C. or New York. Isn't that sad?

I hope you have a wonderful time and don't go through internet withdrawal :)
