I've decided to let the winner choose any book of their choice from The Book Depository (up to a maximum value of £7) as long as the book is written by a British author. It can be an old book or a new release, even a pre-order of a 2015 title you're excited about (as long as you're happy to wait for the prize to arrive!), any genre, any age range, absolutely anything goes as long as the author is British!

2015 British Books Challenge:

It's that time of the year when it's time to start thinking about which 2015 challenges you want to sign up for. First I have to apologise for the fact that I'm so late posting the April link up! This month has already been a little crazy for me what with my birthday and the fact that I spent the first few days in bed with the flu. How are you all getting on with the challenge so far? 2014 British Books Challenge: Link your March Reviews

I can't believe it's already March! How did you all get on with the British Books Challenge in February? Did you hit your target? Discover any new fabulous British authors? I'm aiming for 5 books a month & I managed to read 8 so I'm ahead of my target so far which is fantastic. Let's see if I can keep it up for the rest of the year though - that'll be the challenge. I was lucky enough to go to the launch party for my lovely friend Liz de Jager's debut novel Banished on Thursday so I asked her if she could sign my proof copy so that I could give it away to one of you guys. 2014 British Books Challenge: Link your February Reviews

So we're already a month into 2014 - the year is flying by far too quickly! How are you all doing with your challenge goals? I've set myself the personal goal of reading at least 5 books by British authors every month this year and I'm happy to say I managed to read 7 in January so I'm actually ahead of target. I haven't actually written reviews for all of them though so that is something I'm definitely going to have to work on in February LOL. Did you read as many books as you wanted to?

2014 British Books Challenge: Link your January Reviews

Happy New Year everyone! First of all I have to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in the 2013 British Books Challenge, over 70 bloggers signed up and they posted over 650 reviews for books by British authors which is absolutely incredible!! I can only hope we have the same kind of success in 2014 & I hope you'll all join in again this year. It would be lovely to see some new faces too though so don't be shy if you're a newbie :o)

I'm going to have to do things slightly differently this year and while I'm going to do my very best to make sure we have a prize pack every month that isn't something I can guarantee since I can't afford to fund every month on my own. We have had a lot of support from UK publishers for the challenge but I still don't have enough contacts to sponsor every month so if anyone is interested in helping out you can contact me by email.
