It’s the event of the year. The wedding of Leo and Wolf to their beautiful sub, Shelley McNamara, has all of Bliss up in arms—and makes everyone think about love and marriage and family.
Wolf and Leo have to deal with the sudden reappearance of their father. Rafe Kincaid is handed an opportunity that might take him and his family away from Bliss. Aidan, Lexi, and Lucas O’Malley find themselves at a crossroads in their marriage. And Stefan Talbot must face his biggest fear—possibly losing his wife in childbirth.
So come to the Feed Store Church, pick a seat, and enjoy the chaos as all your favorite characters from Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado, come together for one eventful weekend.
And some of them may never be the same again.
Note: This is a reunion book, which shares an overall story arc and many crossover characters with the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series. This is not a stand-alone.

Review:
Most of the books in the Nights in Bliss and Texas Sirens series work completely standalone so while you'll appreciate them more if you're familiar with the side characters you don't need to have read previous books to enjoy then. Sirens in Bliss is different because this really is an homage to all the books that have come before and it ties the two series together as Wolf, Leo and Shelley return to their hometown Bliss to get married and bring all their friends from Texas home with them. There's always been some crossover between the two series but here we get to see nearly all of our favourite characters from both together for the first time and it leads to all sorts of hilarious conversations.
While this book is ostensibly about Wolf, Leo, Shelley and their upcoming wedding it's also a chance to check in with previous couples & thruples at important points in their lives. Stefan is panicking at the impending birth of his first child and absolutely terrified that something terrible will happen to Jen. Rafe is struggling to settle in Bliss and has been offered the opportunity of a new job but it would mean convincing Cam and Laura to move to Miami with him. Then you have Aidan, Lexi and Lucas who are pulling away from each other at a time they need each other the most. Obviously we see lots of other characters in the background too but these are the main focuses of the story.
What I loved most is that we're getting to see Wolf, Leo and Shelley take the next big step in their relationship but at the same time we're reminded that a wedding isn't an automatic happily ever after. All relationships will be tested at some point, people all bring their own baggage to the table and everyone has to work hard at keeping their love alive. The important thing isn't to have a perfect life, it's being willing to put the work in to make the relationship a success.
Sirens in Bliss has all the humour of the previous books as well as all the heart. It's all about the importance of families, yes the one you're born to but sometimes even more importantly the one you choose for yourself. Friendship plays a huge role in this series and I love how each of the characters supports everyone else.

Review: Back in Bliss - Lexi Blake
Logan Green is back in Bliss, but only for a few weeks to help out at the sheriff’s office. Everything changes when Seth Stark strolls into town with Georgia Dawson on his arm.
Seth’s arrival is anything but a happy accident. He always dreamed of a big house on the river and a wife he could share with his best friend, Logan. After building a software empire, his only goal has been to make that dream come true. He just needed the perfect woman.
Georgia is still haunted by the dark, troubled man who saved her life. She can’t get Logan out of her head. Her boss brought her to Bliss to help him decorate his new summer home, but when Logan Green walks through the door she discovers Seth has something different in mind.
Seth has a plan for their mutual happily ever after, but he never dreamed that coming home would put all their lives in danger.

Review:
We've been building up to Logan's book ever since we saw him tortured at the hands of the Russian Mob in Found in Bliss. Since then he's been a regular recurring character in both the Nights in Bliss and Texas Sirens series and it's been obvious to everyone that he hasn't been coping at all with what happened to him. He's no longer the happy go lucky young man we first met and instead he's closed off and angry with the world. It's understandable considering everything he went through but it's still been hard to watch.
Georgia and Logan had a connection from the moment they met in Siren Unleashed. She initially came across as a snobby rich girl who looked down on everyone around her but as we got to know her I started to realise that she's actually quite sweet underneath the hostile persona she shows the world. Logan didn't know what to make of her acerbic personality but the spark between them was fierce and I loved watching her rock his world. Logan helped save her life when she was in danger but that didn't stop him pushing her away afterwards. He's lost trust in the world and isn't willing to let anyone close to him.
At the start of Back in Bliss it's been months since Georgia and Logan last spoke. Georgia moved to New York and is working as an assistant to hot billionaire Seth. Little does she know that Seth is Logan's best friend from childhood. He's also a master planner and although he ended up in Georgia's life because he wanted to protect the woman his friend cares about he fell in love with her too and now he's determined to create a family for the three of them the way Logan and Seth always planned as children.
Logan hasn't been back to Bliss since he ran away from his friends and family and moved to Dallas. He's so stuck in his own head that he can't bear the thought of being back in the place where he was tortured and he's basically trying to pretend to himself that Bliss doesn't even exist. It takes a lot of manoeuvring on Seth's part to get Logan back in the town and now he's going to pull out all of the stops to convince both Georgia and Logan to give the three of them a chance at a loving relationship.
While all of the books in both of these series work as stand alone stories I do highly recommend reading at least the books I mentioned above if you want to get the most out of Logan's story. He's such a complex character that you really would be missing out on the full depth of his history if you started here. I really enjoyed seeing him finally start to open up about what happened to him and how it has affected him, it's only with Georgia and Seth's help that he's able to start to come to terms with things and put it all behind him. One of the things I love most about Bliss is all the quirky characters that live there and we get to see all of our favourites here as they welcome Logan and Seth back into the fold and welcome Georgia into their hearts. This is actually a place I'd really love to move to! Back in Bliss was a fitting end to Logan's journey and I'm looking forward to seeing him enjoying his happily ever after in future books.

Review:
Once Upon a Time in Bliss is book 8 in the Nights in Bliss series but it's also kind of a prequel. Nell and Henry have been some of my favourite side characters since the beginning of the series so I loved this chance to go back in time and see how they first met. It was also great to see younger versions of so many of the characters we've already met and love, in particular Logan and his best friend Seth shine in this story and as their book is next this was the perfect introduction to them (I think this is the first time we've seen Seth on page but I could be wrong about that).
Anyway, lets get back to our main couple and discuss the romance. Nell has been such a fun character throughout the series, she's a bit hippy in her attitude, very much a free spirit who cares deeply about the people and the world around her. She's constantly picking causes to protest over but when the chips are down she's definitely someone you want on your side because she's fierce when it comes to looking out for her own. Henry is a much quieter and more serious type, he's happy to indulge Nell in her crazy whims but not likely to join her in her protests. Instead he watches proudly from the sidelines making sure she doesn't get into too much trouble. We know from his actions in previous books that there is a darker side to Henry but Nell definitely brings out the best in him.
This story gives us a chance to get to know more about Henry's past as a CIA operative. He has a dark and bloody past but he's relieved to have left it all behind him now. When he first arrives in Bliss the last thing he was looking for was to settle down but he was definitely suffering with burnout from his job. Nell was someone so light and pure that the attraction was instant but he worried about tainting her with his past so it wasn't easy for him to start a relationship. In a lot of ways these two are total opposites but they work so well as a couple, she makes his world a much brighter place while he is able to shield her from the darker side of life and keep her happy.
I loved spending time with Nell and Henry but it was also fun seeing younger versions of characters like Max, Stefan, Callie and even Mel. I really enjoyed the friendship between Logan and Seth too so I'm looking forward to reading their book next. This series really is so much fun to read and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Review:
Gemma's entire focus was her career as an attorney but she lost everything when she caught her fiancé in bed with another woman and had a very public meltdown. Leaving everything behind she has returned to her mother's hometown, Bliss, in the hope that she can start to rebuild her career in a few months time when the scandal has blown over. She is determined not to stay in Bliss and her defensive walls are doing a great job of keeping the residents at a distance but two guys are determined to change that.
Jesse and Cade have been on the move for years searching for the man who destroyed their foster mother but now they've had their revenge they're starting to feel like Bliss might be the perfect place for them to build a life for themselves. They're both immediately drawn to Gemma and Jesse is ready to dive into a relationship head first, Cade is much more reserved about the idea. Jesse is his brother and he's attracted to Gemma but he blames himself for things that happened in his past and doesn't believe he is good enough to be in a long term relationship.
I love Bliss, I actually wish it was a real place because I would love to move there! Seven books in there are a lot of familiar faces now and it's always great to catch up on the latest gossip and see how everyone is getting along but I've also really enjoyed every single romance in this series. Poor Jesse has his work cut out in this book, Gemma has walls a mile high that she's determined not to let anyone break through while Cade is just looking for excuses to run and Jesse is the one determined to grab hold of them both and bind the three of them together.
As always with this series Chasing Bliss was full of sweet romance, scorching hot sex, amusing banter and funny side characters topped off with an edge of danger and I loved every minute of it.

Review: Pure Bliss - Lexi Blake
Re-released in a second edition with new content.
The town of Bliss, Colorado, offered Hope McLean a second chance at life, a gift she cherishes every day. Her past was dominated by dark secrets and regret, most of which centered on a man named Christian Grady. All of that was behind her now, years of horror distilled down into the occasional nightmare or a random feeling of being watched. Surrounded by new friends, she tried hard to leave the past where it belonged—in the rearview mirror.
Raised together, James Glen and Noah Bennett were the best of friends. They dreamed of growing up in Bliss, finding love, and settling down to share their lives on the Circle G ranch. James would manage the day-to-day operations of the ranch while Noah served the town as the resident veterinarian. Everything was perfectly planned out, until a woman came between them and their future shattered. Noah left Bliss for New York City and James was left to struggle to keep the Circle G alive on his own.
Noah returns to Bliss on a mission to rebuild his life. When he sees Hope, he knows his return home was meant to be. Hope’s kindness shines like a beacon calling him to her. Unfortunately, he isn’t the only man interested in Hope. James is also interested in the beautiful girl with a mysterious past. He can’t be forced to choose between the woman of his dreams and his best friend again.
As romance begins to bloom, a dark specter from Hope’s past returns to claim her. To save Hope, and themselves, James and Noah will have to rebuild the relationship they lost and fight for their future with Hope together.

Review:
James and Noah grew up together, raised as brothers they were also best friends and always planned to spend their lives together, hoping to find a woman who would be willing to share them both. Unfortunately it was a woman who came between them and Noah left everything, including James, behind to marry her. He's been gone for five years now and although his marriage was a disaster it has taken him a long time to pluck up the courage to come home and face his brother. Life has been difficult for James since his brother left, he had to sell half of the family ranch just to get by and he's never quite gotten over the sense of betrayal he felt when Noah walked out on him. James has been half in love with Holly ever since she walked into Bliss but unwilling to risk having his heart broken all over again he prefers to spend his time with women looking for nothing more than a few nights of fun.
Holly escaped from an abusive ex and spent years on the run before she felt safe enough to settle down in Bliss. Only her boss, Nate, knows the full details of her past but she has made friends and Bliss is finally starting to feel like home. She's been attracted to James since they first met but he turned her down once and she's not going to risk a second rejection. Then Noah returns home and she suddenly finds herself torn between two brothers, she could have everything she ever wanted if she's only brave enough to reach for it. It's only when she realises her past is about to catch up with her that everything she dreams of comes crashing down around her. Now it's up to James and Noah to put the past behind them and work together to keep Hope safe.
I love spending time in Bliss, it's always fun to catch up with the quirky characters around town and see how previous couples and triads are getting along now. We've already seen quite a bit of James and Hope in the series. James is a bit of a player who has worked his way through most of the single women not just in Bliss but also in the surrounding towns, he's never made promises he doesn't keep though so he hasn't left a trail of broken hearts behind him. He's also a hard worker who has done his best to run his family ranch and a protector who has put himself in harm's way multiple times to protect others in previous books. Holly we knew less about, she's friendly with most of the previous heroines but she's always kept very quiet about her background and as we start to find out everything that she has been through it was easy to understand why she wanted to forget her past.
I thought Holly and James were a great fit but they definitely needed someone like Noah to come along and bring them both together. Holly made a move on James once and was hurt by his rejection so there was no way she would have attempted to pursue him again without Noah's influence and James was too scared of getting hurt to risk any kind of long term relationship. Noah balances them both out, he's been through a lot but he's learned from his mistakes and when he sees a potential for happiness he grabs it with both hands. It took some time for James and Noah to deal with their issues but their friendship is definitely stronger because of that and together they will do whatever is needed to protect Holly from her past.
As with all of the books in this series you're definitely in for a hot read with this one, Lexi Blake writes brilliant triad relationships and Pure Bliss was another great example of that. These three generate a lot of heat but there is also genuine friendship and caring beneath it so it makes their relationship very easy to believe in. Throw in a mystery, some danger and the whole town coming out to protect one of their own and you're left with another great instalment in this series. I'm already eagerly awaiting the next one!

Paperback / Kindle:

Review: Found in Bliss - Lexi Blake
Re-released in a second edition with new content.
Holly Lang has a hard time trusting men. Eight years ago, her husband tossed her aside and took her son away from her. Finding the little town of Bliss has given her a second chance at life, new friends, and sense of belonging. Unfortunately, Bliss also seems to have filled her days and nights with dreams of two beautiful men. She can’t stop thinking about the gentle but haunted Dr. Caleb Burke, and the exotic and dangerous Alexei Markov.
Caleb Burke isn’t your ordinary town doctor, but he’s always dedicated himself to trying to be a good man. His journey to this quirky little town was not an easy one. Some of the stops along the way left him scarred in more ways than one. But when he first sees Holly, it’s like someone threw open the blinds and let the sunlight into his life for the first time in years.
Alexei Markov is nothing like Caleb Burke. Working as a hit man for the Russian mafia, he was forced to do unspeakable things. He suffered through all the moral compromises to fulfill one simple goal, killing the man who murdered his brother. When a mission led him to Bliss, he found something more precious than vengeance. A woman named Holly Lang. Throughout months of living in witness protection, testifying against his former employers, all he could think about was finding his way back to her.
After returning to Bliss, Alexei and his strange new ally Caleb discover that they aren’t the only ones interested in Holly. Someone else is stalking her and appears to want her dead. The only way to discover the identity of the killer is for all three to face up to the secrets of their past and work together to fight for everything they have found in Bliss.

Review:
I feel like I've been waiting ages for this book but really it's only been a few months since I first met these particular characters in One to Keep! Alexei was the member of the Russian mob who saved Holly and several others in that book and he's been in witness protection since then while he gave evidence against his former colleagues. Caleb is the doctor who saved Alexei's life after he was shot and who has been circling around Holly for years but hasn't had the courage to take things further. While Holly is a long term resident of Bliss who had a disastrous relationship with her ex that almost put her off men for life but who has been developing feelings for both Caleb and Alexei. Yes, as you can imagine things are about to get complicated!
Caleb and Holly have been in love with each other for years but no matter how many hints she's dropped he's never acted on his feelings for her because he doesn't feel worthy. Holly already doubted herself thanks to her ex and Caleb's hot and cold behaviour hasn't really helped her confidence so the way Alexei is so open about his interest has really helped her feel good about herself. The trouble is no matter how attracted she is to Alexei she's not quite willing to give up on Caleb yet. Alexei owes his life to Caleb and after digging into his saviour's past he understands exactly why Caleb isn't willing to take another chance on love. Alexei knows what he wants though and that's a strong bond of friendship with Caleb and a shared relationship with Holly, he's seen how many menage relationships work in Bliss and he thinks that would be the perfect option for the three of them, especially as Caleb can keep Holly safe from anyone who puts in an appearance from his old life.
Alexei is really the glue that brings this trio together but I never felt that the others weren't equally invested in their relationship. Each of them brings their own set of baggage to the table and they all have different hang ups and fears about moving forward but lets just say when Alexei and Caleb work together Holly is a VERY lucky woman (I would be very happy to play doctors with Caleb, especially when Alexei was playing the dutiful assistant too)! I really enjoyed seeing all three of these characters get the happy ending they deserved and I loved the introduction of Holly's teenage son Mick too.
It was great spending time in Bliss with all the crazy, busybodies who were determined to nudge these three into making the right decisions. This town is incredibly supportive and protective of their own and they quickly adopted Alexei as one of them. My favourite thing about this series has been the characters and it was great to catch up with lots of familiar faces but the focus definitely remained on the latest triad to set up home together. If I have one complaint it would be that I usually find it too easy to figure out who is causing trouble but to be honest I'm always having so much fun with the romance that I don't really care about the mystery side. This book made me more excited than ever about Wolf's story, Siren in Bloom, which is technically part of the Texas Sirens series but is the next Lexi Blake / Sophie Oak book that is being rereleased so luckily I only have to wait until November. I love how entwined these two series are and will continue to devour them all the minute I can get my hands on them!

Review: Lost in Bliss - Lexi Blake
Laura Niles walked out the door and never looked back. As she left Washington, DC, her career was in ruins and her love life decimated. Her desperate flight eventually led her to Bliss, Colorado, where she managed to find a new home and a little peace. That will have to be enough because Laura cannot imagine finding happiness without the men she left behind.
For five years, Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs have searched for the only woman they ever loved. When she disappeared, everything became crystal clear. For one night, everything had been perfect and instead of embracing what they had found, they let it all slip away. They had let worries about their FBI careers and what others might think destroy the most precious gift they had ever been given. Now they have finally tracked her down, and they want answers.
Laura is shocked when her former loves show up in her new home. When the full force of the FBI arrives with them, Laura knows that the quirky little town is in for a rough ride. The killer that ruined her life has been watching and waiting for the opportunity to strike again. For Rafe, Cam, and Laura it’s time for second chances — to stop a monster, and to reclaim everything they lost.

Review:
Laura worked for the FBI as a profiler but after her job put her in the crosshairs of a serial killer and nearly cost her her life she fled from DC and has never looked back. Now happily settled in Bliss she is doing her best to move on with her life but she's never been able to forget the men she left behind. Rafe and Cameron were FBI partners who worked alongside Laura and were both desperately in love with her. They felt like they failed her and blamed themselves for everything she went through but even though she left five years ago they haven't given up on finding her. Cam left the FBI so that he could focus on the search for Laura while Rafe remained with the FBI to continue trying to track down the serial killer who targeted her. Finally Cam has a lead on Laura's location but in trying to get their woman back have they just put her back in the crosshairs of a killer with unfinished business?
I always love getting the chance to go back to Bliss and catch up with all the quirky characters who live there, it just seems like such a fun place to live and I really enjoy how supportive the whole town is. The people who live there may be a weird bunch but they look out for their own and nobody judges anyone for their lifestyle choices so it's a really inclusive place. Laura has settled into the town well, she's made good friends and she's happy with her life there but she's never forgotten Rafe and Cam or felt ready to move on in a new relationship.
I normally love the menage relationships in this series but I have to admit I struggled with this one in the beginning mainly because Rafe and Cam didn't really seem keen on the idea themselves. It was more something they seemed willing to go along with because they both loved Laura and she couldn't choose between them but for a lot of the story they didn't seem too happy about that. I think that's mainly because their friendship has suffered so much since Laura left, they both blamed themselves (and to a certain extent each other) for what happened to Laura and it had put a wedge between them. It took a while but eventually they were both able to admit that they had missed each other and not just Laura so although there was zero romantic interest between them they did have a strong, more brotherly, kind of love. Once they decided to work together it became a lot easier to get invested in their relationship and I could easily see why Laura didn't want to pick one over the other.
As with all the books in this series there is also a hint of danger as it appears yet another serial killer may be at work in Bliss. I was pretty convinced I knew who the killer was, in fact I thought Lexi Blake had made it too easy to guess, but I should have known better because it turns out I was completely wrong. It was fun to catch up with previous couples and I really enjoyed getting to know Wolf (Leo's brother) better. I definitely think we're going to get his book soon and it's one I'm definitely looking forward to.

Review: One to Keep - Lexi Blake
Stefan Talbot likes order and control. He approaches his life with the same meticulous precision that he uses to put paint on his canvas. Nothing good comes from chaos, and that is why he has refused to allow himself to get close to Jennifer Waters. They are like fire and ice. Though she is younger, her talent as an artist is unquestionable. But she lives her life like she paints—with wild, passionate abandon. It is intoxicating and terrifying, and he can’t get her out of his head.
Jennifer ran from Bliss to put Stef behind her. She had come to the mountain town seeking a mentor but found much more than she bargained for. Cool and distant, Stef was like a marble statue and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t break through his shell. She moved to Dallas to start over, but nothing is going as planned. When the art gallery where she works is robbed and a precious painting is stolen, Jen is accused of the theft. Jen is thrilled when her bail is met, until she realizes her savior is Stef and he has a few conditions. First and foremost, she has to return to Bliss.
Against the backdrop of the Winter Festival, Stef and Jen’s attraction catches fire. But the dark forces behind the robbery in Dallas have followed Jen home. A criminal syndicate believes she still has the stolen painting and they’ll kill to get their hands on it.

Review:
One to Keep is the third book in Lexi Blake's Nights in Bliss, Colorado series and we've seen the push and pull between Stefan and Jen in previous books so I was really looking forward to their story. We know that Stef keeps Jen at a distance because of their age difference but I could never quite understand why that was such a huge sticking point for him before reading this book. I'm not going to go into details in my review but let's just say that I'm able to understand him so much better now. I still found it totally infuriating when he'd pull Jen close only to push her away again any time it seemed like she might have broken through his barriers but I could understand why he did it and why Jen forgave him not just once but several times.
This is one of those stories where you know that they'll be perfect together but one of the characters is running scared and I enjoyed seeing Jen break through Stef's barriers and making him realise that what they had was worth fighting for. Stef has a constant need to be in control but as much as Jen enjoys him taking over in the bedroom she is happy to stand up for herself in other situations and she doesn't let him mess her around without pushing back at him.
I really enjoyed going back to Bliss and catching up with the previous characters, it's great to see how happy they all are in their various relationships and I was really pleased that Jen has supportive friends for when Stef was acting like an idiot. I'm enjoying the Texas Sirens books (which are set in the same world with some characters appearing in both series) but it doesn't have as many quirky and fun side characters as this series does and I miss them. I loved the addition of Alexei and I'm really happy to know he's getting a book later in the series too.
This series has a little of everything - sweet romance, plenty of steam, fun characters and strong friendships with a little suspense and drama thrown in - and I can't wait for the next book!

Review: Two To Love - Lexi Blake
Re-released in a second edition with new content.
Three lost souls
Growing up in the eclectic, small town of Bliss was wonderful for Callie Sheppard. She loved everything about it, except for the lack of potential romantic partners. She only went wild once in her life, sharing a perfect weekend in Dallas with two incredible men she never thought she would see again. When they parted, she was left with a hole in her heart she feared would never be filled.
One romantic weekend
DEA agents Nathan Wright and Zane Hollister were thrilled when Callie agreed to spend the weekend with them. Just days away from a long, undercover assignment, they considered this passionate affair to be an ideal way to spend their last days of freedom. They never expected to fall in love. Leaving her behind was the hardest decision of their lives.
An unexpected reunion
Six years later, Callie is preparing to break in a new sheriff after Rye Harper walked out on the job. Her heart skips a few beats when the man walking through the door is none other than Nate Wright. Nate and Zane have come to Bliss, but their time undercover has left them broken and scarred. The boys are determined to win back Callie’s heart. But when the criminals they took down come seeking revenge, Nate and Zane may have to save the strange little town of Bliss before they can reclaim the woman they love.

Review:
Callie spent a wild weekend with Zane and Nate years ago and never really got over them leaving her behind with no way to contact them. She never expected to see them again so she's totally shocked when she finds out that Nate is the new Sheriff in her hometown, Bliss, especially since that makes him her boss and impossible to avoid. Nate now is very different to the fun loving guy she remembers though, he's more closed off and makes it quite clear that he has no interest in picking things up where they left off. Nate and Zane have spent the last six years working undercover with a dangerous gang for the DEA, things went sideways when Zane's cover was blown and he suffered the consequences both physically and emotionally. Nate is determined to help Zane heal but he has no idea how to get through to him, until Callie walks back into their lives that is. They both always regretted walking away from Callie but with so much history between them Nate isn't sure they can find a way back to each other.
First I have to start off by saying how much I love Bliss, the town is full of fun and slightly kooky characters but it's a place where everyone brings their own brand of weird so nobody is judged by anyone else. There's a nudist colony, a guy who believes aliens are out to get to him and they already have one out and proud threesome so they think nothing of Callie being interested in two guys. As much as I'm also enjoying the Texas Sirens series I really like the openness in this series and the way the town stand together when any member is in need. Callie grew up in Bliss and she can't imagine living anywhere else. It's obvious how much everyone loves her and that they rely on her but unfortunately for her there aren't that many romantic prospects so she's been alone for a long time.
Nate is struggling to deal with his guilt over the torture that Zane suffered while he went to get backup, he's also very career focused and can't wait to get out of Bliss and back to his real life in the city - he just needs to heal Zane up a bit first. Out of the two guys Nate was the hardest to get to know because he always had one foot out of the door looking for better opportunities but it becomes clear that he's just trying to live up to his father's high expectations and he does eventually realise that success doesn't equal happiness and isn't always the most important thing on offer. Zane was totally my favourite though, on the outside he's bigger and badder but inside he's an absolute sweetheart. From the minute he sees Callie again he sets out to show her how much he cares and how much he wants to be a part of her life from here onwards. Both Callie and Zane are willing to fight for what they need and neither of them will accept anything less than total commitment from Nate.
As I've come to expect from Lexi Blake the chemistry was fantastic but the story wasn't all sex, there were some really sweet and romantic moments, a little action and a lot of humorous moments too. I'm loving these rereleases and can't wait for the next book!

Review:
Three to Ride is the first book in Lexi Blake's Nights in Bliss, Colorado series that was originally published under the pen name Sophie Oak. These stories are being updated with additional content and I can't wait to continue reading the series!
Rachel Swift is on the run from the stalker who has done everything in his power to ruin her life since she turned down a second date with him. Luckily for Rachel she had people who were able to help give her a new identity and she escaped but her stalker is a police officer who has already managed to track her down once so she has no doubt he's still hunting for her. When she arrives in Bliss she's practically out of cash and getting desperate but the town welcomes her with open arms and she slowly starts to make friends. The last thing she intended to do was start dating but it's been so long since she last felt attracted to anyone that surely a fling with Max for the short time she's in town couldn't hurt? Of course that all changes when she realises Max's brother Rye is the local sheriff and that the brothers have a reputation of liking to share their women...
I love menage stories so I jumped at the chance to review Three to Ride even though I'm always more sceptical when it's brothers who are involved, I usually prefer my menage stories to involve no relatives but I was actually surprised at how well it works here. Max and Rye are identical twins who are so close they're practically two halves of one person so it's not really that surprising that they want to continue living intertwined lives like that. Their last menage relationship didn't end well though so they agreed that in the future they'll stick to finding their own relationships, they just didn't realise how hard that could be when they both started to fall for the same woman. Rachel has every reason to be wary of men in general and the police in particular after the spectacular ways they failed her when her stalker became obsessed and drove her from her home so it made sense that she was initially wary of Rye and I really enjoyed watching her relationship develop with Max.
Both guys were great characters and it was easy to see why Rachel found it impossible to resist both of them in the long run, my only (very small) complaint is that I would have liked to have seen more of them together as a threesome. For over half the book it's just Rachel and Max together with Rye looking on from the sidelines so although it was completely understandable and worked really well as far as the relationship development went I'm greedy and wanted more of them all happily together.
This is my first Lexi Blake book (and I'm kicking myself because I've had a friend trying to get me to read her books for YEARS!) but it definitely won't be the last. I already can't wait for the rest of this series to be reissued but I'm happy that she's got a huge backlist for me to start working my way through. Three to Ride is erotic romance with a cute small town setting, Bliss is full of fun and eccentric characters and I loved how everyone has their own quirks and nobody judges anyone else for their choices. If only there were more places like this in real life, I have to hope they're out there somewhere but I've never found one!
