Review: Misbehaving - Tiffany Reisz (+ Giveaway)

Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try . . . anything . . .

As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister's wedding isn't as rough as it sounds. There's just one hitch: Bea's assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn't have a plus-one to play with.

The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag—and he's as temptingly gorgeous as ever.

The bad news: Ben turned down Bea's offer of graduation-night sex five years ago.

The best news: He's not planning on making the same mistake twice . . .

Review:
I'm a huge fan of Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners series so of course I jumped at the chance of reading her latest novel Misbehaving. I have to point out that this story is completely separate to her other series and can therefore be read as a stand alone story. It's also very different to her other stories and I found it much more light hearted and humorous but still full of fantastic hot sex scenes which is something I've come to expect from this author. It just proves that she can write romantic comedies just as well as she writes dark erotic romance.

Bea is a freelance journalist and blogger who specialises in reviewing sex toys and books, she is a passionate woman who owns her sexuality and doesn't care what people think of her. I loved the fact that she was so open about her needs and desires, she acts in a way that I think most of us wish we could but are never quite brave enough to pull off and I admired that about her. When she is given a last minute job to review a book of sex positions she can't wait to get started, she just has to find a man who is willing to help her. Ben and Bea were best friends in college and although they always had a thing for each other it never got further than one incredible date and an extremely hot kiss. Thrown together for their friend's wedding now might just be the perfect opportunity to explore the chemistry they had - one week of hot sex with no strings attached might just help them get each other out of their systems. Or perhaps it'll prove once and for all that they are meant to be together.

At around 100 pages Misbehaving is a very quick read but Tiffany Reisz has still managed to create likeable characters and give them a believable relationship. I loved the banter between them and the fact that they were so well matched both inside and out of the bedroom. Of course the sex scenes were incredibly hot but there were also some highly amusing moments along with some sweet and tender ones. Alongside getting to know Bea and Ben we also get the side story of Bea's sister Claudia and her fiancé Henry which was very sweet and had some hilarious misunderstandings. This is the perfect book if you're looking for something that will make you smile and swoon in equal measures, I laughed the whole way through and enjoyed every minute of it.

About the author:

Tiffany Reisz lives in Lexington, Kentucky with her boyfriend (a reformed book reviewer) and two cats (one good, one evil). She graduated with a B.A. in English from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and is making both her parents and her professors proud by writing BDSM erotica under her real name. She has five piercings, one tattoo, and has been arrested twice.

When not under arrest, Tiffany enjoys Latin Dance, Latin Men, and Latin Verbs. She dropped out of a conservative southern seminary in order to pursue her dream of becoming a smut peddler. Johnny Depp’s aunt was her fourth grade teacher. Her first full-length novel THE SIREN was inspired by a desire to tie up actor Jason Isaacs (on paper). She hopes someday life will imitate art (in bed).

If she couldn’t write, she would die.
